This patient had 2300 follicular unit grafts done at another clinic 11 months previously. He was unhappy with the naturalness and sparseness of the result. In Dr. Elliott’s opinion, the grafts had been placed over far too large of an area, resulting in very low density. The hairline was too low and too flat in profile and the hair had been placed at too vertical of an angle. A corrective procedure was performed which transplanted 3037 follicular units to the frontal scalp only. The hairline was re-contoured to have a more natural curve in profile and the temple peaks were re-created which resulted in a more natural contour in profile.
